Why I love matched betting

If you have been following this blog for a while, you will be aware that I never shut up about matched betting! But there is a good reason for this.

Matched betting is a way of betting on both outcomes of a sporting event and making a profit in the process thanks to betting offers.

I began my journey with matched betting in January 2021 in order to see what all of the hype was about, and very quickly I realised why people were raving about it.

In my first month of matched betting, I made £311.56 and 8 months into 2021 have made a total profit of over £1,500 after deducting fees for the ProfitAccumulator* software.

But why do I love it?

It is quite self-explanatory once you have understood how it works. Whilst it may seem complicated when you start it is nice and easy after a bit of concentration on the first few offers!

So it is a good little earner for very little work. I tend to spend no more than 30 minutes a day on matched betting and make a very nice amount from it.

However, my favourite reason is because of tax (I see you rolling your eyes!) and this is that because any winnings from sports betting are treated as gambling proceeds in the UK, they are exempt from any taxation.

What this means is that any profits you make from matched betting are not liable to tax. Put even more simply, all the money you make is yours to keep!

That makes it more attractive than taking on a second job which many people do consider if they are looking to boost their income!

If you are interested in finding out a little more, I have created a free guide on matched betting which you can find here.
