Nutmeg

What is it?

Nutmeg is one of the largest newcomers to the investment game in the UK. With over 80,000 customers and over £2 Billion worth of assets under management, their fully managed portfolios are a favourite of mine.

Being the way that I was introduced to investing, they have a fond spot in my heart and I really cannot recommend them enough.

They are fully regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority which means your money is safe and they are regularly scrutinised to ensure that everything is being run correctly.

Who is it for?

Nutmeg charge a fee for managing an investment portfolio which is regularly updated to reflect the current economic situation in the world. The fee isn’t huge but some people may not wish to pay it.

Therefore, Nutmeg is for those people who want a better return on their money without the hassle of learning about investments, managing their own risk and taking time away from their busy lives.

Why I love it.

There is a simple, easy-to-use website and mobile app which you can access at any time of the day.

You get sent really informative quarterly reports of what is going on within your portfolio.

You can top up your account at any time as well as setting up a direct debit.

You can completely forget about the fact you are an investor whilst enjoying the benefits of being one.
