Nationwide Fairer Share Payment (2024)
Could you be getting £100 from Nationwide?
Today, on the 23 May 2024, Nationwide announced that they would be paying a total of £385 million to 3.85 million of its customers, working out at £100 each. This follows their same scheme last year where they paid out £340 million to 3.4 million customers!
However, not everyone will be receiving the £100 as there are some key eligibility criteria:
You must have a Nationwide current account (& it must have been open on 31 March 2024)
If you have a FlexAccount, FlexBasic or FlexDirect current account, you must have done the following for at least 2/3 months (Jan, Feb, Mar 2024):
Received £500 into the account and made at least two payments out of the account
OR
Have made at least 10 payments from the account
If you have the FlexPlus account, you must have paid and continued to pay the monthly account fee
If you have a FlexOne, FlexStudent or FlexGraduate account, you must have received at least one payment in or made one payment out of your account during March 2024.
AND the key one that will automatically prevent most from getting the bonus is that you must have either:
SAVINGS: You must have had at least £100 in total across any Nationwide savings accounts at the end of any day in March 2024
OR
MORTGAGE: You must have owed at least £100 on a Natinowide residential mortgage on 31 March 2024.
If you are eligible, you can expect to receive the £100 payment between 13 and 28 June 2024.
