What it’s all about

How easy is it though?

It is a really common question, and the maths behind matched betting often scares people away!

If you use a pre-built software like Outplayed* or OddsMonkey* which is made for the sole purpose of making matched betting accessible to anyone, it really couldn’t be simpler.

What you need to start

This isn’t a recipe book but here is a list of what you need:

  • A bit of money to bankroll the offers ~£100 or so should be enough to start

  • Access to a desktop computer/ laptop

  • A good matched betting software/ site (I have used and paid for Outplayed* for two whole years but OddsMonkey* is cheaper now)

  • Some spare time (1 hour initially)

A good starting point

If you are interested in beginning matched betting, a great starting point is to learn about it before you begin doing all of the offers.

Outplayed has a great free trial where you can test out the basics, but even better is their £1 trial for 7 days where you can access their full software. This allows you to access their vault of training videos and see if it really is something that you are interested in.

If you have a weekend where you know you’ll have a spare couple of hours, start the trial on the Saturday and make the most of it by watching all their videos, reading the guides, joining the forum and having a go at a few of the offers!

If you do get to this stage and have questions, our DMs on Instagram are always open for you.

But an important question is, what are offers?
