How it works:

Alongside Nationwide’s return to bank switch offers, Co-Op Bank have re-launched theirs. However, they have made it slightly complicated (although not impossible!)

The First £75

  1. Apply for the Standard Current Account on Co-op’s website here

  2. Switch in an account from another bank with 2+ direct debits

  3. Within 30 days of the switch completing, register for online banking, use your debit card 10+ times (I presume topping up Chip or Plum works) & pay in £1,000+

  4. You will receive £75 within 7 days of the switch completing once you have done all of the above

The Next £75

“Month 2” starts the day after you receive your first bonus, so if received on 20 October, month 2 will run from 21 October - 20 November. Don’t get tricked by this and miss the dates!

  1. You can also get a further £25 per month for month 2, 3 and 4:

    • Pay £1,000+ into the current account per month

    • Have 2+ active direct debits

    • Use your debit card 10+ times
