Getquin - A review

If you have been following us on Instagram recently, you will notice that we have been talking about a new app called Getquin.

Getquin aims to become the social network for investors, where you can talk about stocks, crypto and discuss your portfolios with like-minded individuals.

Everything in one place

As someone who has money invested all over the place, across 3 stock portfolios, 8 crypto exchanges, and even shares in Limited companies, it is great to be able to see this all pulled together.

I can see my gains/losses on a daily basis for the entirety of my investment portfolio which is convenient. Although, as a long-term investor I shouldn’t be looking every day - I am working on this!!

For the time being, it is a bit time-consuming to enter all of your portfolios manually but if Getquin brings the integrations to the UK this will be a no-brainer for all UK investors!

Transparency

I love to be as open and transparent as possible with all of you, so being able to let you look at my full portfolio is great, and hopefully, you think so too.

It would be great to be able to review your portfolios in time as well, as I love discussing investments with people (if you couldn’t tell already).

For further transparency, please note that we are part of an affiliate network with Getquin and will receive compensation should you download the app, however, this is the first partnership we have accepted after turning down tens of others that just didn’t fit our values.

The future

Once your portfolio is in Getquin, it also very cleverly estimates how much you will receive in dividends in the future from specific stocks. This is great for those of you with heavy dividend portfolios that need to plan.

Our future

In terms of our future with Getquin, we plan to continue posting on there several times a week with Instagram-like content but I will also be posting all of my buys and sells of stocks, crypto, etc.
