Whilst I’ve touched on the value of using cashback sites in the past, I’ve never really gone into much detail on just how to get the most from them.

There are dozens of cashback sites available, but there are a handful which I use continuously to put more money back in my pocket.

Here’s a look at the sites I would recommend you add to your toolkit as you spend throughout 2024:

RAKUTEN

Are you making any online purchases of £20 or more in the coming months?

Rakuten is the cashback arm of a multi-billion pound Japanese company and whilst it often doesn’t beat the two below for its rate, they will give you £15 when you spend £20 using my link:

TOPCASHBACK

Arguably the UK’s largest cashback site, TopCashback is often the best place to earn when you spend money online.

I know that it can be difficult to remember to check sites like this when you are shopping online, and TopCashback know this too, so they have added a browser extension that automatically earns you cashback as you spend online!

I always use this site when making large purchases online as the amounts you can get back seriously add up when you are spending a lot

QUIDCO

Another large UK cashback site, owned by the MoneySupermarket Group, this is almost identical to TopCashback but sometimes has better rates for you to take advantage of so it’s always worth comparing the two sites to see who will pay you the most!

JAMDOUGHNUT

All of the above are great, but they’re very much limited to online spending and if you’re anything like me, A LOT of your purchases are made in person which makes it difficult to maximise your savings

JamDoughnut is by far my favourite way to save money on groceries as you can buy gift cards for your chosen supermarkets and earn a decent percentage of your spend back!

It won’t make you a millionaire but even just buying groceries for the two of us I earned £17 in the last 3 months of 2023 alone

AIRTIME REWARDS

Last, but by no means least, is Airtime Rewards which gives you cashback but you can only use this to put towards your mobile bill in £10 increments

It’s a slightly different concept for cashback but it’s well worth looking at as earning cashback is beyond easy with this app

Add your cards to the app and it will automatically track if you spend at any retailers and add the cashback to your account

Notable retailers include Boots, Aldi, Greggs and many more
