Freetrade is an investing app similar to Trading 212 which I have been using for years, and love so much I invested in the company itself back in a crowdfunding round a few years ago

NEW BANKING DATA APP

If you’ve been around for a while, you will know that I used to use YouGov Finance to get paid for my banking data every so often, that was until they blocked my account

They have now actually stopped this service altogether for all customers, which got me looking to see if there was an alternative out there

It doesn’t pay as well, but there is another app called Unbanx

The way this app works is that you can connect a bank account (it doesn’t have to be your main one) to the app and you will earn 110 “UBX” points per month for doing just that

You can also do occasional surveys and other tasks for more points, which you can then redeem for gift cards starting at £3 (492 points)

So this one won’t make you a millionaire by any means, but if you aren’t fussed about sharing your banking data you could make a few pennies every so often

WITHDRAW FROM ROBINHOOD

If you signed up to Robinhood around the time I first shared the offer, you should now be able to withdraw your cash from the app. Here’s how:

1. Head to the ‘Investing’ section in the app (graph icon)

2. Scroll down to ‘Stocks’ and click on the stock you own

3. Click the ‘Trade’ button

4. Click ‘Sell’

5. Click ‘Sell all…’

6. Swipe your screen up to complete the trade

7. Within a few days you will have withdrawable cash which you can find by going to your profile and clicking the three lines in the top left

8. Choose ‘Transfers’ and you will see what’s available under ‘Withdrawable cash’

9. If there’s a balance tap ‘Withdraw money to your bank’ and enter the full amount you wish to withdraw

10. The cash will be in your bank in 48 hours
