DIRT-CHEAP VEGGIES…

As in previous years, most major supermarkets are dropping vegetables to as low as 15p for bags of carrots, potatoes, sprouts, broccoli, and parsnips (varies per supermarket)

This is obviously an attempt for supermarkets to get you through their doors as they lose money on all of these products BUT if you can then you may as well take advantage of this!

WHEN?

Wednesday 18 December - Sainsbury’s

Thursday 19 December - Tesco

Thursday 19 December - ASDA

Thursday 19 December - Lidl

Thursday 19 December - Aldi

It may be that other supermarkets announce similar deals, but this is what we know at the moment!

MAKE THE MOST OF IT

If you regularly purchase these products, and are able to, then it may be worth stocking up on enough of these veggies to freeze over the next few months, being sure to check the best ways to freeze first!
