Cheapest Place for Easter Eggs

Whilst we all love chocolate, this year it seems to be leaving a bad taste in the mouths of the British public; Which? found that the big brands have been reducing the cocoa content and reducing the size of Easter eggs despite hiking the prices up, leaving consumers paying up to ~40% more!

This is bonkers!

So here is where you can get your hands on Easter eggs without taking out a payday loan:

Okay, Easter veg(s) doesn’t quite rhyme with Easter eggs as I’d hoped but..

Supermarkets are ready to flog their vegetables at incredibly low prices much like in previous years around Easter and Christmas

Only these three have announced their prices so far but I anticipate the other supermarkets will follow suit and announce their prices shortly!

Here are the best prices for veggies in the run-up to Easter:

Aldi - 8p each - (31 March - 5 April)

This week you can get a FREE sharing box of two Taste the Difference muffins - this does not work at small high street stores

You only get 60 minutes to scan the barcode from activating it so don’t activate too early and assume you’ll need help from a colleague as they can be temperamental to scan yourselves! I would recommend heading to a self-scan till rather than a scan as you shop till as the barcode readers are more receptive of the moving barcodes!
