Lloyds launched their latest bank switching offer this week offering a tasty £175 cash, here’s how to get your hands on this cash:

1. You can’t have received a switching bonus from Lloyds, Bank of Scotland or Halifax since April 2020 to be eligible

2. Open a Club Lloyds current account

3. Switch an existing current account from another bank into this account (must have 3+ active direct debits)

4. You’ll get £175 within 3 working days

£25 Bonus for your kids!

Virgin Money are offering £25 cash when you open a Virgin M Power Account for your 11-15 year olds and pop £1 in the account!

If you are looking at getting your kids a first bank account with a debit card, this seems like a pretty good option and an easy bonus!

• Is a credit check carried out?

• No credit check should be carried out, just identity as it is a legal requirement. This is a reloadable card much like Revolut

• Are SumUp trustworthy?

• They have cemented themselves at the forefront of point of sale providers in the UK and are well reputed

Monzo have recently launched an investing function within their banking app and bizarrely (but great for you) there is a referral scheme for this that pays existing customers £5 for about 30 seconds of your time

2. Check your pre-filled information & update if needed

3. Enter your National Insurance number (required for investments)

4. Choose to add £1 to a pot (pick between 3 risk levels)

5. Turn off regular investments unless you wish to keep them

6. Once done you should almost instantly receive £5 which you can choose to invest or have added to your “personal pot” (current account)

This is, by far, one of the most popular offers I have seen in a long time and there is a good reason for it as it takes less than a minute & you can also get your £1 back once the investment has settled in a few days!

Matched Betting - My Original Side Hustle

I am now incredibly lucky that I have had a productive balance of side hustles for a number of years and know what works, and what doesn’t but matched betting was my first side hustle and it always pulls me back as we approach March and the Cheltenham racing festival each year

Matched betting is a way of using bookmakers’ promotional offers against them by using “betting exchanges” that let you bet the exact opposite of something you have betted for on the bookmaker’s site

Using online calculators, and promotional offers, this means that you can lock in a profit every time once you know what you are doing.
