THE WIZZ AIR DEAL - WORTH IT?If you’ve been on social media this week, you’ll probably have seen a lot of chat around the €499 “All You Can Fly” offer which was due to increase to €599 part-way through this week but has now mysteriously “SOLD OUT” I truly hope that people haven’t bought it as this is just AWFUL: You can only book flights 3 or less days in advance Yes, you read that right so if you have no commitments in life whatsoever then maybe this is good but it also means that you have NO GUARANTEE of being able to catch a return flight from your destination It also means that you can’t get on every flight as most flights with WIZZ will likely sell out before 3 days before they go You have to pay €9.99 for each flight You can largely get flights with Ryanair for close to this price without having to pay the extortionate up-front fee It doesn’t include luggage Yes, really - for a whopping €599 you only get carry-on luggage included which is fine for a short city break, but anything else it’s not worth it! Miss 3 flights and you’re out I kind of get this, but equally when you’re pressured to book everything so last minute and the flight is less than £10 you may be tempted to just miss a flight if you book it Well, miss 3 flights and you’re membership is cancelled without refund Consensus? Unless you are travelling back and forth for business multiple times a week and always use WIZZ air, although even then it may not be worthwhile, this honestly seems more like a marketing stunt to get people talking about WIZZ You probably wouldn’t save any money using this and I hope that they do offer refunds if people have paid for it because it seems pretty bad
