A few interesting bits and pieces this week, but bank switching is booming as there is currently well over £1,000 of cash available!

CO-OP BANK SWITCH

Recently we have seen the same old banks bring their bank switching offers back, but most of us have already done these or are ineligible for the offers!

However, here’s a bank that you probably haven’t used yet - Co-Op Bank

There’s £150 up for grabs here, but you do need to jump through a few hoops to get to it:

First £75

1. Switch an account with 2+ direct debits to Co-Op bank

2. Pay in £1,000 within 30 days

3. Register for online banking

4. Use your debit card 10+ times

Second £75

You will get £15 per month for the first 5 months that you:

1. Have 2+ active direct debits

2. Pay £1,000+ into the account

3. Use your debit card 10+ times

4. Pay £50+ into the linked savings account

FREE DISNEY+ FOR 3 MONTHS?

Whether you’ve been thinking about giving it a go, or you already have Disney+, Tesco Clubcard members can currently get their hands on 3 months of Disney+ for FREE

Zing is a relatively new app from the powerhouse that is HSBC

They have currently poured £100 millions into this app in an attempt to combat the likes of Revolut, Wise, etc & I’m not going to lie - the app is good

It’s a free app that acts like a virtual wallet you can top up with cash from your other bank accounts or debit cards

You can then use your free card to spend the cash in the UK, but can also use it for foreign currencies whilst abroad using a good exchange rate!

(I will be using it when we go abroad later this year in lieu of Chase)

Anyway, they are offering £20 cash to new customers right now & here’s how you can get hold of it:

1. Sign up to Zing via my referral link (below)

2. Order your free card

3. Top up your account with £12 or more

4. Convert this into a foreign currency and then EITHER

5. Use your card abroad for 2 transactions worth at least £5 each

HOW TO MAKE £ FROM THE EUROS

The Euros are now well underway and whether you are an avid football fan or not, there is cash to be made here! Betting site’s eyes light up at the sight of profits coming their way and get very “generous” with their promotional offers…

This doesn’t really matter, BUT if you know how to do matched betting it could be a great way to add some extra cash into your pocket

Matched betting is a tried and tested way of making some tax-free cash by taking advantage of promotional offers & simple maths
