Chip is a savings app that I have been using for years and like it so much I bought shares in the company in a crowdfunding round a while back!

They have just changed up their referral scheme and it hasn’t been this good in YEARS, here’s how to get £20:

Lloyds Bank Switch - £185 (NEW)

Lloyds Bank have joined the barrage of bank switch offers available and theirs is one of my favourites as you don’t have to deposit any cash to receive the bonus!

1. You must open a Club Lloyds current account

   (costs £5 per month UNLESS you pay in £2,000 per month, don’t forget that a £2,000 pay in requirement could be the same £200 paid in and out twice or even £1 paid in and out 2,000 times (!))

2. You must switch a current account with 3+ active direct debits across from a non-Lloyds group bank

3. Once done, you’ll get £185 cash within 10 working days

Mettle by NatWest - £50 (EXTENDED)

Don’t ask how or why (I don’t know) but I seem to have one of the few active referral codes for this in the whole country so whilst I am well over the amount of referrals that I get paid for, you can still get a free £50

Mettle is a free business account for businesses, sole traders and side hustlers which is why I have been using them for years for The Bank Engine and my side hustles

I expected this offer to end in June but it has been extended to May 2026!

It is part of the NatWest group so you know that you can trust it!

Get £5 back instantly

If you haven’t used the Cheddar cashback app before, it works similarly to JamDoughnut or EverUp where you can buy a gift card for supermarkets and earn cashback into your account for doing so

Whilst the cashback rates aren’t necessarily the highest, the sign-up offer is well worth doing as you can get an INSTANT £5 + cashback

1. Download the Cheddar cashback app and create an account

2. When prompted enter the referral code “ENGINE3”

3. Purchase a gift card within 14 days

   (you can currently get 4% back at Tesco, 3.5% back at M&S, 3% back at ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons, and much more)

4. Once you make your first purchase you will receive a £5 bonus plus cashback on your gift card into your account

5. You can withdraw this immediately to your connected bank account

It is a nifty little app so you may wish to keep using it after this, but if not then you can simply delete it and be £5 better off!

Get a share of $50,000 + up to $175!

Robinhood is an investing app that launched in the UK a little over a year ago and is similar to Trading 212 in that it doesn’t charge fees for investing and has millions of users in the US

Well, Robinhood usually offers new customers a free share worth $7 - $175 when they sign up through my link and deposit £1 or more

Right now, you can also get a bonus! This bonus is unknown but there is a $50,000 pot that will be divided by all new customers who sign up through a referral link and those that referred them

Getting a mortgage with Leeds BS - Get £500

This is a very rogue offer BUT if you are looking to buy a house in 6+ months time and potentially may get a mortgage with Leeds Building Society you can get a £500 bonus

This is through their Home Deposit Saver account and is a great extra bonus if you’ve already maxed out your Lifetime ISA

1. Open a Home Deposit Saver (4) account

2. Receive a residential mortgage with Leeds BS (not re-mortgages)

3. Have £2,500+ in the account (max £500 deposits per month)

4. Have had the account for 6+ months but less than 5 years

£1 Family Films at Cineworld this Summer
