Sainsbury’s Nectar Boost

Following on from the Sainsbury’s Nectar card “Count up to Christmas” challenge, there is now an additional challenge available in the Nectar app called “Count up to Christmas price boost”

This appears to differ from customer to customer, but within my app I get:

• 100 points for 1st £30+ shop

• 150 points for 2nd £30+ shop

• 200 points for 3rd £30+ shop

• 250 points for 4th £30+ shop

• 300 points for 5th £30+ shop

This runs through to 16 December 2025 so many will be unlikely to reach the top level but make sure you opt-in for bonus points if you are going to be shopping at Sainsbury’s anyway!

LEGO Insiders Weekend (22 & 23 Nov)

LEGO Insiders is their loyalty scheme which rewards you with points when you buy direct from them. This weekend you can get 2x points on all purchases as a LEGO Insider:

• Spend £50+ to get 800 points (worth £5)

• Spend £100+ to get 1,600 points (worth £10)

• Spend £150+ to get 2,400 points (worth £15)

• Spend £200+ to get 3,200 points (worth £20)

These points can then be used towards future LEGO purchases online so effectively offering 10% cashback for future spending, don’t forget to stack this with cashback sites as well!

There are also Gifts With Purchase (GWPs) LEGO sets available on the site throughout this weekend which are specific for this weekend, I believe:

• Spend £35+ to get “Baby Gorilla Encounter”

• Spend £155+ to get “LEGO Hot Chocolate Stand”

• Spend £255+ to get “LEGO Mini Knights Castle”

These GWPs are usually pretty good sets in their own rights and often resell for £20+ online

£50 Bonus from Webull

Webull is a global investing app similar to Trading 212 / Robinhood and they are offering new customers £50 when they deposit £100 for 30 days

There is no need to invest this £100 and if you do this over this coming weekend, you should have your £100 + your £50 bonus in your bank before Christmas!

£3 ASDA Cashpot Bonus

Tesco are running a promotional offer where you can purchase a select few gift cards for 20% off their face value. Again, only purchase these if you were going to anyway and they don’t have to be for gifts (e.g: if you go to an Odeon cinema every week this could be a good way to save!)

Use Gift Cards EVERYWHERE

I sound like a broken record, but if the above offer sounded good then you should be using gift cards to pay for everything you buy!

Gift cards are now one of the best ways to save money as you spend at the UK’s biggest retailers through apps such as EverUp, Cheddar & JamDoughnut where you simply buy a gift card and pay with it instead of your debit card but you will get X% back every time!

I have made £100s so far this year from doing this at every supermarket and other shop I can do it. The only reason I don’t do it is if I think I may return the item or if I want to pay on a credit card

Cheap Cinema Tickets

With the new Wicked film hitting cinemas this Friday, and many other cinemas showing Christmas classics, it’s worth knowing how you can get cheap cinema tickets this Winter

Vue

1. If you have Sky Cinema, you will have 2 free Vue cinema tickets every month, simply claim these from your MySky app

   Know a family member who has Sky Cinema but doesn’t frequent a Vue cinema? Kindly ask if you could have this month’s tickets!

2. If you are an O2 customer, you can get 2 tickets for £9 or 4 tickets for £18 through your O2 Priority app! These don’t have to be used together either, if you fancy a solo cinema trip then just use one of the free tickets each time!

This week you can get a FREE packet of Love Corn (again!) - this does not work at small high street stores

You only get 60 minutes to scan the barcode from activating it so don’t activate too early and assume you’ll need help from a colleague as they can be temperamental to scan yourselves! I would recommend heading to a self-scan till rather than a scan as you shop till as the barcode readers are more receptive of the moving barcodes!
