BANKS ARE LIKE BUSES

Just a short while ago we had no bank switching offers available, and now in the space of a month we have had multiple bank switching offers appear seemingly all at once!

This week, Santander has rejoined the bank switching club offering a pretty decent deal (as long as you’ve never received a bonus from them before):

Santander Edge Current Account

• £175 cash for switching + £15 cashback if you go through TopCashback

• £3 monthly fee for this account but you get:

• 1% cashback on your energy bills, water bills, council tax, TV, broadband and mobile bills (up to £10 per month)

• 1% cashback on supermarket spending, fuel and train travel (up to £10 per month)

• Access to a savings account that pays 7% on balances up to £4,000

50% CASHBACK (£15 ON A £30 SPEND)

Rakuten is a MASSIVE global company based in Japan who have their fingers in many different pies, and they have very recently relaunched their UK cashback site

It doesn’t have the best rates, but does have most major retailers available and if you sign up through a referral link you will get £15 cashback when you spend over £30 at any of their retailers

PLUS you can refer your friends and you’ll each get £15 for doing this (check out the link below for my top tip to get a free item!)

£10 CASHBACK SITE BONUS

Perhaps more well-known in the UK is TopCashback who I even referred to earlier in this email as paying a £15 bonus for the TopCashback offer!

Whilst they have 5 million customers worldwide, if you don’t yet have an account you can get a £10 bonus when you sign up via my referral link!

This bonus is payable once you earn £10 worth of cashback on TopCashback which is likely easier than you think as I have gone through the list of offers that count towards this and some easy wins are:

GET IT BEFORE IT’S GONE!

FirstDirect belongs to the HSBC group and so does ZING, the new finance app similar to Revolut & Monzo that lets you top up a debit card in dozens of currencies (seems like a good option for holiday spending!)

It is actually a pretty solid app, as you’d expect from HSBC but they’ve sweetened the deal with their new referral offer:

1. Message me or email me the word “ZING” and I’ll send you my referral link (they’re capped and I don’t want people missing out!)

2. Follow the link and enter your mobile number

3. Download the app and sign up with the same mobile number

4. Verify your ID and top up your account with £5 or more

5. Use your physical or virtual card to spend £5 or more in one transaction

6. Within 30 days you will receive £20 cash into your ZING account!

You can also then refer your friends to repeat the above steps with your link and you’ll both get £20

This is one of the easiest offers I have seen in a long time and considering it’s backed by one of the world’s largest banks, it’s well worth your time!

SPEAKING OF REVOLUT…

Revolut’s referral scheme comes and goes with differing offers regularly, most of which only rewards the person referring new customers!

However, this month’s referral scheme for me enables me to pay you a whopping £40 cashback once you complete a number of steps
