As we head into the Summer Holidays, two banks seem to have woken up and offered switching offers for the first time in a long time!

RARE Bank Switching Offer - Barclays

Barclays last had a bank switching offer this time in 2024, so if you have done most of the other offers, this could be one you’ve missed before!

• You are ineligible for this offer if you are an existing Barclays customer OR had a Barclays account before 15 July 2025

• You are ineligible for this offer if you have EVER received a switching incentive from Barclays before

1. Open a Barclays Current Account in the Barclays App (not through the website)

2. Join Blue Rewards (it costs £5 per month but ditch once you get the £175 as it’s not worthwhile)

3. Switch into this account from another bank including 2+ direct debits

4. Pay in £1,500 to the account before 28 August 2025

5. Receive £175 cash shortly after

Chase Bank Switching Offer - Invite Only

Short of Chase offering £20 bonuses when they initially launched in the UK, they haven’t really done much since

Well, a bit out of the blue - they are now offering invited customers only to switch a non-Chase current account across to Chase in return for a £50 Amazon voucher

I am not quite sure what the criteria is for people to get an invitation for this offer but it is well worth checking your Chase app as it is only available for existing customers anyway (and that could be you!)

There are no requirements other than having to complete the switch

Webull - £50 for £500 deposit

Webull is a worldwide investing platform that launched in the UK a few years ago, and is fully FCA authorised and regulated

They regularly have referral offers on the go, and at the moment it is a little different to the “free share offers” they usually have

1. Sign up to Webull via my referral link

2. Download the Webull app and open an account

3. Deposit £500+

4. Maintain your balance for 180 days

5. You will get your bonus (£50+)

Chip - £10 for £100 deposit

Similarly, Chip is a savings and investing app that I’ve used for years and like so much that I even invested in the company via a crowdfunding round a while ago

As expected, the very generous £20 bonus has disappeared BUT they are still offering £10 for new customers who save £100

Sky Customer? Get Your FREE Ice Lollies

Sky customers can get a FREE Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference ice lollies (worth about £2.50) when you head to your SkyVIP account

This offer must be claimed by 23:59 on Monday 21 July and is only eligible for Sainsbury’s superstores (e.g: not small city centre stores)

This is a pretty good offer if you’re able to take advantage of it but note:

• You will not be able to scan the barcode yourself (a worker will need to help you with this or manually override the till)

• You only get 30 minutes to use it before it expires so I would activate this when you reach the till

You may have noticed that Taste the Difference pizzas were available last week, well that is because there is now a weekly treat for Sky customers each week!

£2 off Sainsbury’s Meal Deal

I haven’t personally tried this one but it keeps popping up for me as an ad so I thought it would be worth sharing

It looks as though Vita Coco have launched a new flavour drink (Creamy Strawberry) as part of the Sainsbury’s meal deal range

As such, when you get this drink as part of your meal deal you can get £2 off by the looks of things!

Co-Op Pizza & Beer Deal

Co-Op regularly has good deals when it comes to pizza and their latest also seems pretty good! Co-Op members can get 2 stonebaked pizzas plus a 4-pack of Budweiser (or soft drink equivalent) for just £6

Non-members can get this for £7

Get £5 back instantly

If you haven’t used the Cheddar cashback app before, it works similarly to JamDoughnut or EverUp where you can buy a gift card for supermarkets and earn cashback into your account for doing so

Whilst the cashback rates aren’t necessarily the highest, the sign-up offer is well worth doing as you can get an INSTANT £5 + cashback

1. Download the Cheddar cashback app and create an account

2. When prompted enter the referral code “ENGINE3”

3. Purchase a gift card within 14 days

   (you can currently get 4% back at Tesco, 3.5% back at M&S, 3% back at ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons, and much more)

It is a nifty little app so you may wish to keep using it after this, but if not then you can simply delete it and be £5 better off!
