If you have been following us on Instagram, you will know that I am a huge advocate for matched betting.

This is a side hustle that I discovered back in January and have used every month since. Over the first 4 months of the year I have earned £859.45 across 52 hours; an hourly rate of £16.53!

I’m not going to lie to you and say that this isn’t a difficult concept to get your head around. It is very strange to think that we can rip off bookmakers.

How does it work?

Effectively, you will use two different websites; a bookmaker’s site and a betting exchange site.

The betting exchanges allow you to bet on any outcome of any event.

Using software like ProfitAccumulator*, you can find an event where the odds are similar for each outcome of the event.

I know what you’re thinking, so if I found an event with the same odds for both outcomes, I would only end up with £0 profit…?

Yes, that’s exactly right. But what happens is that bookmakers will give you an incentive to bet with them. Therefore, you may make £0 profit when you make that bet, but they may well give you a £50 free bet as a thank you.

We then repeat that process, but because only half of the money is yours you make a profit either way!

As a rough rule of thumb, you can expect to make about 80% profit on each free bet that you receive.

It is complicated

I wouldn’t want to trick you into a false sense of security, but if you read through all of the guides on ProfitAccumulator* and follow their video guides for each offer in real-time then you can’t go far wrong!

They have software which:

• Finds the offers

• Finds the events to bet on

• Tells you how much to bet

• Tells you your profit/ loss

Could you do it without the software?

Honestly, I don’t think so!

The cost of the software relative to the amount of time it saves you is well worth it. It is around £25 per month but if I tell you that on their site you can earn upwards of £600 profit from “sign-up offers” and at least another £30+ from their "reload offers” it is clear how cheap this is!
